clothing labels: H bar C
H bar C is one of the classic labels you will find in western wear shirts
dating back to the early 1900's. H bar C was founded when two tailors named Halpern
and Christenfielf, started out making riding clothing in 1917. In 1935 they opened
a western branch to make and market thier riding clothes. They later changed the
name of the label to H bar C with the intention of giving the name more of a western
flair. H bar C is known for making clothing for movies as well a staple label
in the growing Western wear market. The H Bar C logo on the label was trademarked
in 1941, and has been used in a number of different versions since then.
