Fashion of Recycling vintage clothing

Dust Factory Vintage Wholesale, based out of San Diego, California, was born out of a simple necessity. While operating their first vintage store, the founders felt the need to keep an abundant selection of top quality vintage clothing on hand to keep their wide array of customers happy. Unable to manufacture an authentic vintage product a new concept was born.

The concept behind Dust Factory grew to offer retail customers not only vintage clothing, but the best quality vintage clothing available in the market. For the retailer, this saved hours upon hours of searching and allowed them to offer their customers simply the best variety of products out there. The way Dust Factory operates bagean changing the techniques in the vintage industry and began truly setting the standard of how the industry works.

Today, Dust Factory has grown in operations from one man's vision to an entire team's realization. With an amazingly knowledgeable and dedicated staff behind it, Dust Factory is now a global wholesaler with its product in the far reaches of the world. Dust Factory's recycled fashion has also struck a cord in the entertainment industry, having spotted Dust Factory merchandise in a number of movies, television shows, as well as on numerous musicians. The dream continues to grow, and will continue on its path, ever adapting and growing along with the ideas and dreams of its vision.

"Wassup Rockers," by Larry Clark Captures Vintage Punk Style From the Streets of LA
The film concerns a gang of skaters, refugees from El Salvador - although everyone thinks they're Mexican - who live in South Central LA. They are hassled in their neighbourhood because they don't identify with hip hop, preferring instead tight pants, black T-shirts and hardcore punk music that owes much to earlier Latino bands like Suicidal Tendencies. The leader of the gang is shy, sweet Jonathan, (Jonathan Velasquez) very much a teenager, a charmer with the ladies and lead singer of their band.

We met up with Alex through mutual friends of ours from Costa Rica. Alex leaves every winter from January to June for inspiration in the land of Pura Vida. With the off shore breeze and the good waves Alex is able to capture this smooth classic feeling in his art. This common bond between lifestyle and art is one of the things that make Alexs' paintings so interesting. His pieces do not sit quietly on a wall, but hang loudly demanding the viewers to respond with a reaction. In most cases these reactions remind the viewers of the peaceful feelings they have longed to encounter again.

My Freedamn 2 by Rin Takan
Said best by the author, the T-shirt is a "Symbol of Freedom" but also a "rebellion to society" This book is about nothing more than freedom. It dives into one of the best subcultures of California. Surfing Skateboardin', Hot Rodding and Motorcycling. The only thing is that it tells the story through the designs on old vintage t-shirts. More
